About the role

We are recruiting a Scala developer that understands how to focus on creating and managing Scala applications. You will utilize Scala to create, update, and analyze different specifications of Scala-based applications for multiple systems, providing ease-to-use and better UIs.

What You’ll Do

- Design, create and maintain Scala-based applications;

- You’ll be responsible for all architectural development tasks related to the application;

- Write code in accordance with the app requirements;

- Perform a software analysis;

- Work as a member of a software development team to ensure that the program meets standards;

- Application testing and debugging;

- Make suggestions for enhancements to application procedures and infrastructure;

- Effective cross-team collaboration.

Requirements

- Scala (with a focus on the functional programming paradigm);

- Knowledge of Lagom framework, Postgres, Docker/Containers, Kubernetes, Vault;

- Proficiency with ETL architecture, as well as cloud platforms like AWS;

- Solid grasp of software development methods;

- Excellent communication skills;

- Ability to convey facts in a simple and straightforward way Strong analytical capabilities;
