Hi Timothei! Can you tell us something about yourself?

“Something about yourself”. Let’s make this one as short as I can. I’m a 24 years old travel enthusiast that is absolutely in love with football (yes, that’s right, it’s not called soccer) and living life to the fullest, and ​​while the last part seems like a cliché, it is true! 

You work as Native Teams’ Business Development Manager for the Croatian market. Why did you decide to join Native Teams?

The moment Native Teams caught my attention, it only became more intriguing from there on! With Native Teams, I’m surrounded by a cool, modern vibe and I’m always working with great teammates. We’re building an excellent product and have the best clients! Business development in Native Teams is my ideal environment! 

And what do your daily tasks normally include?

Well, every day is a new adventure! Our environment is pretty fast-paced, lots of things happen all at once, and most days consist of a lot of emails and meetings, and even though it may sound boring, trust me, not even one day is dull.

How can Native Teams help Croatian freelancers and remote workers?

Native Teams help their clients in the best and most valuable way possible – by saving their time! Legislation and bureaucracy can make freelancing seem difficult, but in reality, it shouldn’t be that hard! You should use your time and focus on your work and projects and let us deal with the rest!

Our team here at Native Teams works 100% remote. What do you like the most about working remote, and what do you like the least?

Being the travel enthusiast that I am, the ability to travel wherever and whenever I want and work from interesting places gives the story a special twist that not many other jobs provide. My only complaint is that we don’t see each other as a team all that often. I work with some incredible people.

What do your hobbies include?

Since I have played football my whole life, it should come as no surprise that it is my biggest passion and hobby. When I’m playing it or watching it, that’s for sure my happy place!
In addition, I love the Croatian coast and visit it quite frequently!
Even though I am quite busy with a lot of hobbies, it is impossible to cover everything now. 🙂 

If you could have a superpower, what would it be and why?

Teleportation. Imagine being able to go wherever you want in the world within seconds. Wow. Goosebumps. 

What would you recommend to anyone who wants to start freelancing?

Be like Nike and “Just do it”! It might seem difficult to start, but it is worth the while! The freedom and happiness freelancing offers you is the best thing ever!
