Besides this, employees must also contribute 3.87% for health insurance, 10.25% for pension contributions, 3% for unemployment insurance, and small deductions of 0.5% for housing subsidies and the chamber of labour each. 

Employers are also subject to gross salary deductions, including 3.78% for health insurance, 12.55% for pension contributions, 3% for unemployment insurance, 1.2% for accident insurance, and a small deduction of 0.1% for insolvency insurance. Besides these contributions, employers may also be subject to other deductions, such as company provisions, housing subsidies, and others.

-Income of up to €12,816 per year: Tax rate of 0%.

-Income from €12,816 to €20,818: Tax rate of 20%.

-Income from €20,818 to €34,513: Tax rate of 30%.

-Income from €34,513 to €66,612: Tax rate of 40%.

-Income from €66,612 to €99,266: Tax rate of 48%.

-Income from €99,266 to €1,000,000: Tax rate of 50%.

-Income over €1,000,000: Tax rate of 55%.
