Hi Milica! How are you today?
I'm fine, thanks for asking.
How would you describe yourself in 3 sentences?
Maybe someone from my environment would do it better, but I can try.
Genuinely kind and not so calm person in certain situations.
Always talking (and singing) and sometimes making people uncomfortable with my jokes.
Sharing my cat photos even if no one asks, but really, do you want to see my sweet dear cat? 😀

You’re currently working as a People & Culture Admin for Native Teams. How did you come to where you are today and what made you decide to join our company?
I was excited to join Native Teams because I've always loved working with people, but to be honest, I prefer the administrative side of the job, so my position is perfect for me now. I wanted to be part of a team that helps others with their everyday problems and brightens their working days. Being part of the company allows me to improve myself professionally and to grow, and I am excited about the opportunity to contribute to our company and every team in it.
What is the best part of your job?
The best part of the job is that I get to meet every single person in the company (most of them in person). The fact that I was there to help them solve the smallest problem or to show them how to do something through the onboarding process makes me feel so happy.
How would you describe our company culture and what is the most important aspect of maintaining a positive culture within Native Teams?
Our company culture is the set of shared values, beliefs, and behaviors that shape how our employees interact and work together. It encompasses aspects like communication styles, decision-making processes, work environment, and how our employees are treated. Ultimately, it influences employee satisfaction, productivity, and overall success of the team.
The most important aspect of maintaining a positive culture in Native Teams is open communication. When team members feel comfortable sharing ideas, feedback, and concerns, it fosters trust and collaboration. This transparency not only strengthens relationships but also encourages a sense of belonging and engagement. Additionally, recognizing and valuing contributions helps reinforce a culture of appreciation, which further enhances positivity.

How does your typical working day look like?
Since you can always find me in the office, my work day starts before I get to the office because I keep up with what's happening on the phone. A small concert before the start of the working day is a must have and the only audience is the previously mentioned cat whose dissatisfaction with my musical abilities is visible. After that, a short trip to the office where the real work begins. Every day is different, so I can't sum up a typical workday in one sentence.
What accomplishments are you most proud of within your time on the People & Culture team?
I am very proud of all of the accomplishments of all of the members of my team and the fact that each individual's success is actually shared, because we would not have succeeded without each other's support.
What would you recommend to anyone wanting to become part of Native Teams?
Now this will sound like a cliché, but to be yourself, to love what you do, to have a positive attitude and to be ready to work hard in an environment that will meet all your expectations.

What’s the most valuable lesson you’ve learned so far?
The most valuable lesson you’ve learned so farIt is never to judge a person by the first impression. You will be surprised how one smile and honest conversation can open the shell.
Where can we find you when you’re not working? What do you love to do the most?
When I'm not at work in the winter, you can find me wrapped in a blanket reading a book or watching a crime series. Also, puzzles are my great love besides colouring by numbers.
What’s your secret talent?
My hidden talent is that I can imitate people and their accents.

If you could travel anywhere in the world, where would you go and why?
If I could travel anywhere in the world, it would be Tuscany. Forever favourite Tuscany.
And lastly, if you could give one life advice to your younger self, what would you say?
The only advice I would give to my younger self would be to be patient, a lot calmer and to listen more.
