Accessibility statement

Our commitment
At Native Teams, we design and build digital products that people rely on every day, and we believe that good digital products should work for everyone. Accessibility is part of how we think about quality: a website, platform or app is only well designed if people can use it comfortably, whatever their abilities, the device they use or the way they access the internet.
We are committed to making our website, Platform and mobile applications accessible and usable by as many people as possible, including people with visual, hearing, motor, speech and cognitive disabilities, and people who use assistive technologies such as screen readers, magnifiers, voice control and switch devices. We treat accessibility as an ongoing part of how we design, build and test our products, and not as a one-time project.
This statement explains the standard we work to, how accessible our services currently are, the known limitations we are working to fix, and how you can get help or tell us about a barrier.
What this statement covers
This statement applies to the following Native Teams services:
- our website at nativeteams.com, including our knowledge base, country guides, Legal & Compliance Hub and free tools and calculators;
- the Native Teams Platform at app.nativeteams.com;
- the Native Teams mobile applications for iOS and Android; and
- the documents, emails and customer support channels we provide in connection with these services.
Some features of our services are provided by third parties, such as identity verification, electronic signature, payment and embedded video services. We take accessibility into account when we choose these providers, but we do not fully control their accessibility. Where this affects you, please contact us and we will help you find an alternative way to complete the task.
The standard we work to
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) version 2.2 at level AA, published by the World Wide Web Consortium. These guidelines are the internationally recognised standard for digital accessibility. They explain how to make digital content perceivable, operable, understandable and robust for people with a wide range of disabilities, and they are referenced by accessibility laws and standards in many countries, including the European standard EN 301 549.
Our work on accessibility also takes into account our obligations under applicable laws, including the UK Equality Act 2010 and, where it applies to our services, the European Accessibility Act.
Current conformance status
Our website, Platform and mobile applications are partially conformant with WCAG 2.2 at level AA. This means that most of our content and features meet the standard, but some parts do not yet fully conform. We are open about this because we believe that you should know what to expect, and because honest reporting is the first step to improvement. The known limitations are described in the next section, together with what we are doing about them.
Known limitations
Despite our efforts, some parts of our services are not yet fully accessible. The table below describes the main known limitations and our plans to address them. We review and update this list regularly.
If you encounter a barrier that is not listed here, please tell us, as described in the section headed "Tell us about a barrier".
What we are doing to improve accessibility
We take the following steps to make our services more accessible and to keep them that way:
- we include accessibility requirements in the design of new features, using accessible components, sufficient colour contrast, clear typography and consistent navigation;
- we test our services with automated accessibility tools as part of our development process, and we supplement automated testing with manual testing, including keyboard-only navigation and testing with screen readers;
- we train our designers, developers and content writers in accessibility, and we provide guidance on writing clear, plain-language content;
- we consider accessibility when we select and review third-party providers; and
- we track accessibility issues alongside other product issues, so that they are prioritised and fixed as part of our normal development work.
How you can use our services
We want as many people as possible to be able to use our services comfortably. Depending on the service and the device you use, you should be able to do the following.
AbilityNet provides helpful guidance on how to adjust your device to make it easier to use if you have a disability.
Compatibility
Our services are designed to work with recent versions of the most widely used web browsers, including Google Chrome, Apple Safari, Mozilla Firefox and Microsoft Edge, and with recent versions of the iOS and Android operating systems. Our services rely on HTML, CSS, JavaScript and WAI-ARIA to work with assistive technologies. For the best experience, we recommend that you keep your browser, operating system and assistive technologies up to date.
Accessible formats and support
If you need information from us in a different format, such as an accessible PDF, large print, plain text or an audio recording, please contact us and we will do our best to provide it within a reasonable time. You can also ask us to communicate with you in a way that suits you, for example by email rather than by phone.
Our customer support team can help you complete any task that you are unable to complete because of an accessibility barrier, for example by guiding you through a process or completing it with you.
Tell us about a barrier
We welcome your feedback on the accessibility of our services. If you have difficulty using any part of our website, Platform or mobile applications, or if you think we are not meeting the requirements described in this statement, please let us know. Your feedback helps us to improve.
When you contact us, it helps to include
- The web address, screen or feature where you encountered the problem.
- A short description of the problem and what you were trying to do.
- The device, browser and any assistive technology you were using, if you know them.
- How you would like us to respond, and whether you need information in an alternative format.
You can contact us by email at support@nteams.com, with the subject line "Accessibility", or through the support chat in the Platform. We aim to acknowledge accessibility feedback within five business days and to tell you within a reasonable time how we plan to address the issue. Where we cannot fix a problem quickly, we will offer you an alternative way to access the information or complete the task.
If you are not satisfied with our response
If you are not happy with how we have responded to your feedback, please let us know, and your concern will be reviewed by our Legal & Compliance team. You can contact them at legal@nteams.com.
If you are still not satisfied, you may be able to seek advice or make a complaint through an independent body. In the United Kingdom, the Equality Advisory and Support Service can provide advice about discrimination and accessibility. In the European Union, you can contact the authority responsible for enforcing accessibility requirements in your country.
How we assessed our services
This statement is based on a self-assessment carried out by Native Teams, using a combination of automated testing tools and manual review against the success criteria of WCAG 2.2 at level AA. Manual review included keyboard navigation, screen reader testing on desktop and mobile devices, and review of colour contrast, text alternatives, forms and error messages. We plan to supplement our own testing with periodic independent accessibility audits.
Review of this statement
We review this statement at least once a year, and whenever we make significant changes to our services, so that it continues to describe the accessibility of our services accurately. The date at the top of this statement shows when it was last updated.
