Fees & additional services policy
Last updated:
This Fees & Additional Services Policy explains how fees work at Native Teams. Our services are built around a defined scope that reflects what most clients need in the ordinary course of their work. Some situations, however, require additional time, specialist expertise or action outside the usual timelines, and this Policy explains how those situations are handled.
Value you can see
- Competitive pricing. Our plans start from clear, published prices that are among the most competitive in our market, with no annual commitment required.
- High-quality service. Every plan is backed by our specialist teams, local expertise and a platform built to make global work simple.
- Pricing that fits. Your price reflects the services, countries and scale that are right for you, and it is always confirmed before you commit.
How this Policy fits into your agreement
This Policy is one of the documents that together form your agreement with Native Teams. It sits alongside our General terms of use, the terms for the services you use, and any Master Services Agreement, Scope of Work, order or quote agreed with you, each of which refers to it. It therefore applies as part of that agreement and does not require a separate signature.
The Policy applies from the time you accept our terms on the Platform, enter into an agreement with us or accept a quote, and continues to apply for as long as you use the services to which it relates. Any arrangement that has been specifically agreed with you in writing takes precedence over the general position described here.
Standard fees
Where our prices are published
Our standard plans, and the prices from which they start, are published on our Pricing page. They cover Employer of Record, Contractor of Record, Contractor Pay and Entity management, each with one administrator account included at no additional cost, while solutions such as Gig Pay are priced individually based on your setup and the size of your team. Our Help Centre provides further detail on how individual plans and their tiers work.
How your price is determined
The price that applies to you depends on the services you choose, the countries involved, the number of people or engagements you manage and, for some plans, the level of usage. You can estimate your costs with the pricing calculator on our website, request a custom quote from our team, or agree pricing in a signed agreement. In every case, the applicable price is confirmed to you before you commit to a service.
Plans that are based on usage
Some plans are organised into tiers based on usage, such as the volume of funds managed through the Platform. If your usage exceeds the limit of your current tier, your plan moves to the tier that matches your usage, and it remains in that tier until you ask our team to review it. Where a service is used at high volume, custom pricing may be available.
One-time and country-specific fees
Some services involve one-time fees in addition to the recurring plan price, for example the setup of a new legal entity or the implementation of a payroll service. These fees vary by country and by the scope of the work, and they are confirmed to you in advance.
Invoicing, taxes and currency
Fees are invoiced in accordance with your plan or agreement and are payable by the due date shown on the invoice. Unless stated otherwise, fees are exclusive of value added tax and other applicable taxes, which are added where required. Where a service involves more than one currency, the applicable exchange rates and any conversion costs are shown in the Platform or set out in your agreement.
Our approach to transparency
We are committed to clear pricing with no hidden fees. Our standard prices are published openly, and this Policy exists so that anything beyond the standard scope is equally visible. Additional fees are never applied without a basis in this Policy, the fee schedule or your agreement, and we will always explain any additional fee that appears on your invoice.
Our transparency promise
Trust is built on clarity. We believe you should always know what you are paying for and why, which is why there are no hidden fees at Native Teams.
- Open pricing. Our starting prices are published for everyone to see, so that you can compare and plan with confidence.
- No surprises. Your price is confirmed before you commit, and every line on your invoice is clearly explained.
- A relationship built on trust. We are always happy to talk through your fees, and we will never apply a charge without a clear basis that you can see.
Additional services and the fee schedule
Beyond the standard scope, additional services may be provided and additional fees may apply in the circumstances described in this Policy. The applicable fees, rates and conditions are set out in a fee schedule that is provided to you with your agreement, quote or onboarding materials, and that your account manager can share with you at any time. The fee schedule supplements this Policy and applies together with it.
Situations that may involve additional services
The following are the situations in which additional services are most commonly required. They are described in general terms, as each case depends on its specific circumstances, and the list is not exhaustive.
Tailored advice. General guidance on how our services work is always included. Advice that is tailored to your specific circumstances, such as guidance on complex local requirements or on a sensitive individual matter, can be provided as a dedicated service, supported by our in-house specialists and, where necessary, by local advisers.
Complex matters. Where a dispute, complaint or claim arises in connection with a person engaged through our services, we can support you in managing it, including by coordinating with local advisers. This support is provided as an additional service, and any external costs are passed through.
Changes to timing. Payroll and payments operate on an agreed schedule to ensure accuracy and timeliness. Payments processed outside that schedule, and information received after the agreed deadline that requires additional processing or correction, may be subject to additional fees.
Bespoke analysis and reporting. Each service includes the standard reports and calculations that it requires. Customised analysis, reports or cost projections prepared at your request can be provided as an additional service.
Provision for future obligations. In certain countries, obligations arising at the end of an engagement can be substantial. Where appropriate, amounts may be accumulated over the course of an engagement so that those obligations can be met when they fall due.
Recognition of prior service. Where you ask for a person's previous period of service to be recognised, for example when transferring an existing team member to our services, and local law permits it, additional fees and conditions may apply to reflect the additional obligations involved.
Cross-border arrangements. Arrangements in which a person works outside their home country, or in more than one country, require additional compliance, tax and administrative oversight, and may be subject to an additional recurring fee. This is distinct from our global mobility services, which are governed by separate terms.
Late payment. Invoices are payable by the agreed due date. Late payment may give rise to interest and administrative fees, and may affect the continuity of services in accordance with your agreement. We will always contact you before any service is suspended.
Third-party costs. Where a service involves costs charged by third parties, such as government fees or the fees of local advisers, translators or couriers, those costs are passed through in addition to our fees, unless otherwise agreed.
Updates
This Policy, our standard fees and the fee schedule may be updated from time to time to reflect developments in our services, operational requirements, market practice or the law. We will give you at least thirty days' notice of any material change to fees before it takes effect, through the Platform, by email or through your account manager.
