Last updated:
Opening your own company in a new country is a big step. It means more control, a stronger local presence and a foundation for the future. It also means registers, filings, renewals and deadlines that never seem to look the same twice. That is where we come in.
With Native Teams, your entities are set up properly, kept in good standing and managed from one place, so that you can spend your time growing your business instead of chasing paperwork. These Terms explain how it works.
Everything your entity needs, in one place
Many businesses manage their foreign entities through a mix of local agents, law firms and accountants, each with its own processes and its own invoices. We think there is a simpler way: one partner, one platform and one subscription for the whole life of every entity you own.
Your entity journey with us
- Start. We set up a new company for you, or hand you the keys to a ready-made one.
- Run. We look after the filings, registers and renewals that keep your entity in good standing.
- See. You follow everything from one dashboard, wherever your entities are.
- Grow. You add local services whenever you need them, and expand into new markets with the same partner.
Start: a new company, built for your plans
Where should we start?
Choosing the right country and the right type of entity shapes everything that follows, so we begin with a conversation about your plans. Together, we work out the jurisdiction and structure that fit best, from more than thirty jurisdictions across Europe, the Americas, Asia-Pacific and the Middle East.
What happens next?
We prepare your incorporation documents, arrange any certification, notarisation or legalisation, and handle the filing and registration through our trusted local partners. Once your company exists, we help you get it ready to operate, with introductions to local banks, a registered office address and company secretarial support, depending on the country.
How long does it take?
That depends on the country and the type of entity, and on how quickly the local authorities process applications. We will give you a realistic timeline at the start and keep you updated at every step.
Start faster: ready-made companies
Sometimes the opportunity will not wait. If you need to start operating straight away, a ready-made company can get you there much sooner. These are companies that are already registered and ready to be transferred to you.
We take care of everything involved in making it yours, including transferring ownership, appointing your directors and handling any re-registrations, such as a new company name or address. Before you decide, we will share the details we hold about the company, so that you know exactly what you are taking on.
Run: staying in good standing, without the stress
Owning an entity is an ongoing commitment, and missing a single deadline can lead to penalties or worse. Our ongoing service takes those obligations off your plate, so that your entities stay in good standing year after year.
What we take care of
- Your registered office, including receiving and forwarding official mail.
- Annual and statutory filings, prepared and submitted on time.
- Renewals of registrations and licences before they expire.
- Company registers, including directors, shareholders and beneficial owners, kept up to date.
- VAT and similar registrations, maintained throughout the year.
- A proactive compliance calendar, so that we can remind you well before we need anything from you.
The exact scope depends on the country and your plan, and we will always confirm it with you.
See: your whole portfolio at a glance
Every entity we manage for you lives in your Native Teams portal, together with its documents and status, so that you always know where things stand. Premium features take this further, with a portfolio health dashboard that shows the status of every entity at a glance, an automated compliance calendar, and a regulatory insights feed that keeps you up to date with changes in the countries where you operate. We keep improving the Platform, so new features will continue to arrive.
Already working with us through the Employer of Record?
When you are ready to employ people through your own entity, the move is simple. Your data, your documents and your point of contact stay the same, so the transition feels like a natural next step rather than a fresh start.
Grow: add what you need, when you need it
As your business develops, your entity may need more. Depending on the country, you can add tax and legal consultations, support with opening a local bank account, annual report preparation, local tax, payroll and bookkeeping services, a local director, and updates to company registers and beneficial ownership filings. We will always confirm the scope and the cost before we begin.
How we work together
You and us
- You own the company. You and your directors remain responsible for its activities and its compliance with the law, and you make the decisions.
- We keep it running smoothly. We provide the administrative and corporate support, acting on the information and approvals you give us.
- You keep us informed. Accurate information, timely responses and quick signatures help us keep everything on track.
- We keep you ahead. We track the deadlines, flag what is coming up and tell you early when we need something from you.
Who are your local partners?
In many countries, some steps must be taken by licensed local professionals, such as notaries, registered agents, lawyers or accountants. We work with a network of carefully vetted partners and coordinate their work for you, so you still deal with one provider throughout.
Why do you need to check who we are?
Before we set up, transfer or manage an entity, and from time to time afterwards, we and our partners are legally required to verify the identity of the company, its owners and its directors, and to carry out anti-money laundering and sanctions checks. If these checks cannot be completed, we may not be able to act.
Can you guarantee approvals and bank accounts?
Registrations, licences and bank accounts are granted by authorities and banks at their own discretion. We will prepare everything carefully and support you all the way, but the final decision is theirs. Our bank introductions help you open an account, and the bank decides whether to do so.
What if I need a local director?
If we arrange a local director for your company, they will act in line with the law and their legal duties, based on the information and instructions you provide. Like any director, they can decline to act on an instruction that would be unlawful, and they can step down in line with the law and the terms we agree with you.
Is this legal or tax advice?
Our day-to-day guidance is general in nature. If you need advice specific to your situation, our qualified tax and legal specialists can provide it as an additional service.
Your information
When we handle personal information on your behalf, such as details of your directors, shareholders and beneficial owners, your business is in control of that information and Native Teams processes it on your behalf, in line with our Data Processing Agreement. We are responsible for information ourselves only where the law requires us to process it for our own purposes, such as identity and anti-money laundering checks.
If you decide to move on
If you stop using the service, or move an entity to another provider, we will make the transition as smooth as possible. You will receive your entity's documents and records, and we will agree a handover period during which we keep forwarding official mail and help you put new arrangements in place.
If we provide your registered office, company secretary or a director, these roles need to be replaced before ours ends, so that your entity stays compliant. We will let you know exactly what needs to happen and help you get it done.
How these Terms fits with your other documents
These Terms apply together with our General terms of use and our Data Processing Agreement. If you have signed an agreement with us for Entity management, that agreement takes priority over these Terms.
